16 days before the Asian Games in Hangzhou

Rowing slalom was included in the Olympic Games in 1972.  The Fuyang Aquatics Center in Hangzhou has a 281-meter-long rowing slalom track, a 50-meter launch pool and a 45-meter buffer zone. The route contains from 16 to 25 gates, of which 6 or 8 are direct gates, and the rest are reverse gates. During the race, athletes must pass through each gate in the order of their number and in the correct marked direction. The correct transition is one in which no part of the body, equipment, oars or boat touches the poles. There are two rounds in the arrival phase, one round in the semi-final phase and one round in the final phase. The lower the score, the better the result. The rowing slalom at the Asian Games in Hangzhou will be held at the Fuyang Aquatics Center from October 5-7, where athletes will compete for 4 gold medals.
