A meeting was held on the execution of the President's instructions regarding the construction of the Olympic Campus

As we previously reported, on November 18, the Head of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Olympic town in Tashkent and got acquainted with the construction progress. The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan held a meeting on the instructions given following the results of the study of the sports facility and their implementation. The meeting was held by the Minister of Youth Policy and Sports, Adham Ikramov. The event was also attended by NOC Secretary General Oybek Kasimov, Deputy Chairmen of the Committee Saken Polatov, Azizjon Kamilov and Sherzod Tashmatov, Executive Officer of the Cabinet of Ministers Rashid Talipov. The main topic of the agenda was the preparation for the IV Asian Youth and V Asian Para Games "Tashkent-2025", as well as sports included in the program of the Games, the timing and creation of maximum comfort during the guests' stay. The Minister spoke in detail about the tasks set by the Head of our State to further improve the efficiency of work. According to him, it is important to provide the Olympic town with the most modern sports equipment. After the end of the competition, these facilities will serve to raise the sport of our country to a new level. In particular, the Olympic Town will become a whole cluster where our national teams will prepare for major starts and a scientific and practical sports center. Also, recreational sports grounds with all amenities will be built in the town. After the Asian Games, the facilities will serve as the main training base for the national teams. The Minister conveyed the President's instructions on involving international experts from countries such as Hungary, China and Belarus in the process. Issues of approval of mascots (symbols) were also discussed during the meeting The Asian Games, the formation of the dates of the competition. The list of sports that will be included in the program is also being formed and is in the final stage, the project is being prepared for approval by the Olympic Council of Asia. At the end of the meeting, the preparation of our athletes for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games was also considered. A.Ikramov added that our government fully supports the training plan, and in response expects as many licenses as possible from our national teams.
