Adham Ikramov got acquainted with the preparation of national teams and the new rehabilitation department opened in the RNCSM

The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan discussed the preparation of national teams in various sports for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, as well as for the Asian and Para-Asian Youth Summer Games Tashkent 2025, the process of construction work in the Olympic town. The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees and industry experts. At first, the focus was on the issue of preparing for the main starts of the quadrennial – Paris 2024. In this regard, officials of the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees gave detailed information about the preparation of the national teams, the estimated number of licenses that are still expected to be won. In turn, the Minister of Youth Policy and Sports, Adham Ikramov, stressed the importance of monitoring the TCB of each team. To date, work in the Olympic town under construction in the capital is in full swing. Work on metal structures has been completed at all facilities. Experts noted that each complex will be equipped with equipment manufactured in Italy, Germany, the USA, China and other advanced countries, the Olympic town will become a center for scientific and practical training of Uzbek sports and will serve as a single cluster to bring its development to a new level. Providing information on sports and their directions, which are expected to be included in the competition program, NOC Secretary General Oybek Kasimov added that consistent work is also underway with the Olympic Council of Asia. In modern sports, sports medicine plays an important role in the preparation of national teams for large complex competitions, in particular, such areas as dietetics, pharmacology, rehabilitation. Based on this, new modern changes are planned at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Sports Medicine (RNPCSM) under the Committee. Officials examined the new rehabilitation department operating in this Center. Kamol Sirozhitdinov, director of the RNPCSM, added that the unit is equipped with all necessary equipment, ensures the recovery process of athletes and serves for their new victories. Adham Ilhamovich highly appreciated the new plans and gave additional recommendations for improving work efficiency.
