The International Canoe Federation (ICF) is committed to creating a more inclusive and equitable environment and is actively seeking highly qualified sports scientists and physiologists to join the Transgender Policy working group as volunteers. In accordance with the Concept of Equity, Inclusivity and Non-discrimination on the Basis of Gender, developed by the International Olympic Committee, the aim of the working group is to develop a transgender policy consistent with the strategy and obligations of the ICF. ICF believes that the contribution of passionate and knowledgeable experts will be invaluable in shaping policy, ensuring that canoeing remains at the forefront of promoting diversity and equity. Along with sports scientists and physiology experts, the gender-balanced working group will include ICF leadership, athlete representatives, sports advocates and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and reasonable outcome. ICF invites dedicated experts to join us and share their valuable knowledge and time for further development of canoeing.
