Paris-2024: Plans for the preparation of the Uzbek delegation with representatives of the media were discussed.

 The National Olympic Committee held a press conference on the organization's activities for 2023 and preparations for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games. During the conference, NOC Secretary General Oybek Kasimov and Deputy Chairman of the Committee Sherzod Tashmatov gave comprehensive answers to questions from media staff. At the beginning of the event, Oybek Omilovich spoke in detail about the activities of the NOC over the past year. The head spoke in detail about the preparation of the Uzbek delegation for the Paris 2024 Olympics, training camps, international relations and competitions, such areas as sports medicine, and also gave information about the funds spent on this during the year. In his speech, the Secretary General of the NOC emphasized the preparations for the Tashkent 2025 Asian Youth Games. In the second part of the press conference, the preparation of the Uzbek delegation for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games was discussed in detail. Answering questions on this topic, Sherzod Rikhsibaevich noted that a training plan has been developed jointly with the Ministry of Sports for each national team. It is expected that the delegation of Uzbekistan to Paris 2024 will win vouchers in 20 destinations. Accordingly, the number of participating athletes will also be increased. Answering the questions, the leaders emphasized the preparation of the national teams in weightlifting, rowing, cycling, football and athletics for the upcoming licensed competitions. Also, Sh.Tashmatov said that he was personally present at some international training camps and observed the process. Modern sports equipment has been purchased for athletes and qualified foreign specialists have been involved in training. Taking into account these factors, athletes are expected to perform the highest at licensed starts. Currently, the Uzbek delegation has 25 licenses for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games. At the end of the press conference, Oybek Kasimov noted that with the support of our state, the maximum number of licenses for the main starts of the fourth anniversary will be won than ever, and it is planned to set the best result in the history of our delegation.
