Presentation of the preparation of national teams for the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games

The XIX Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, are the most important start for Uzbek sports this year. Officials are analyzing the preparation of National sports teams for the main continental four-year starts. The plans of the Weightlifting and Fencing Federations of Uzbekistan were reviewed at the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Youth Policy and Sports, First Deputy Chairman of the country's Weightlifting Federation Shakhrullo Mahmudov, Secretary General of the NOC Oybek Kasimov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee Sherzod Tashmatov, responsible persons of the Federations, coaches. First, the representatives of the Federations focused on the priority plans developed for the current year, the expected results of the main and reserve teams of the national team, which are expected to participate in the Asian Games. There was also a detailed exchange of views on local and international TCBMs, competitions that will be organized in the preparation process. It is worth noting that the Uzbek delegation at the Asian Games did not have a fencing medal until that time. The Federation in this discipline is taking all necessary measures to eliminate this and planned to show in Hangzhou what domestic fencers are capable of. In addition, Uzbek weightlifters also strive to update and improve their results. During the meeting, the officials gave additional recommendations on the presentation, noting that the training of athletes is supported by the state and all necessary conditions are being created for this.
