There is almost 1 year left before the start of the main starts of the quadrennial – the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. These days, a seminar is being held in the French capital dedicated to preparing for the upcoming OI. The event, held by the organizing committee of the competition, is attended by delegates of National Olympic Committees from all over the world. Secretary General of the Committee Oybek Kasimov and specialists of the Department of International Relations are taking part on behalf of the NOC of Uzbekistan. At the beginning of the workshop, a presentation was held, which included general information about the Games. A number of interesting aspects can be found in it. The opening of the launches attracted the attention of many. It is known that the opening ceremony of the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games for the first time in the history of the main quadrennial starts will be held not at the stadium, but in the river itself. This historic event, which will take place on the Seine River, is scheduled for July 26, 2024. Thanks to this, you can increase the number of fans who want to watch the ceremony firsthand. It is planned that at least 500,000 spectators will be able to watch the opening on the riverbank. The first rehearsal of the ceremony was also held during the event. 39 ships were involved in it as tests, which moved along a given route at a speed of 9 km / h. The conference also provided detailed information on the requirements for the delegations that will participate in the Olympic Games. For the first time, a visa system will be introduced for visiting guests. It is worth noting that prior to this, the accreditation of participants at all Olympic Games simultaneously performed a visa function. During the event, O. Kasimov presented to the organizing committee the symbols of our Motherland — the national flag and the anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The seminar will finish its work tomorrow. Within its framework, delegates will also visit the Olympic Town and the facilities where the competitions will be held.
