Rowing competitions at the Olympic Games in Paris will be held in a specially built complex in Vere-sur-Marne

Rowing has been an integral part of the Olympic Games program since 1900. In Paris, fans of this sport will not only be able to watch the dramatic struggle of athletes again, but also the amazing views of Vere-sur-Marne. Another feature of the rowing tournament in 2024 will be that for only the second time in Olympic history, it will include the same number of competitions for men and women. A total of 502 "academicians" will compete at the Paris 2024 Games: 251 athletes of each gender - 24 fewer than in Tokyo. This number includes the quotas of the host country (one for each gender) and quotas distributed according to the principle of universality (two for each gender).   The remaining 496 athletes (248 men and 248 women) will compete in seven Olympic classes: 58 athletes (29 of each gender) are singles 52 athletes (26 of each gender) — twos 52 athletes (26 of each gender) — doubles doubles 72 athletes (36 of each gender) — fours swing without a helmsman 72 athletes (36 of each gender) — doubles fours 126 athletes (63 of each gender) — eight 64 athletes (32 of each gender) — doubles, lightweight   At the Olympic Games in Paris, 7 competitions are planned for men and women: Singles (men/women) Twos (men/women) Doubles doubles (men/women) Fours swing without steering (men/women) Pair fours (men/women) Eight (men/women) Pair deuces, light weight (men/women) All 14 competitions will be held from July 27 to August 3. The races will take place at the beautiful water stadium in Vere-sur-Marne, 39 kilometers from the Olympic and Paralympic village.
