Six months before the Olympic quotas for Paris end

For the world's best rowing, canoeing and paracanoe athletes, this week is exactly six months away from the most important four days of 2023, which will compete for licenses for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. In August, the city of Duisburg (Germany) will host the 2023 World Rowing and Canoe and Paracanoe Championships, which will become a qualification competition for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Athletes will try to earn Paris quotas for their federations. It will be a long-awaited return to the German headquarters of the international family of kayaking and canoeing, ten years after the city last hosted the ICF World Championships. Duisburg last hosted Olympic Qualification in 2007 before the Beijing Games. Duisburg also hosted the World Championships a year before the Olympic Games in Atlanta, Seoul and Moscow. The ICF Canoe and Canoe Rowing and Paracanoe World Championships 2023 will be held from August 23 to 27 in Duisburg, Germany.
