These days, specialists from the departments of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and representatives of Bornan Technology, which is an official partner of the organization, are staying in Tashkent. The main objectives of the visit are to discuss preparations for the Asian and Para—Asian Games "Tashkent-2025" in the field of digital technologies, to explore existing problems and shortcomings. At the beginning of the visit, the National Olympic Committee held a meeting with the NOC working group. It was attended by representatives of the NOC headed by Oybek Kasimov, officials of the Ministry of Sports and the OCA. First, the guests were provided with full information about the preparation for the competition, in particular about the sports that are supposed to be included in the program of the Games, as well as about the arenas where athletes will compete. During the conversation, Oybek Omilovich stressed that huge preparations are underway for Tashkent 2025 and that the state fully supports this project. Also, a meeting was held with the participation of specialists from the Ministry of Digital Technologies and Uztelecom JSC. During the meeting, representatives of the OCA informed about the requirements established in accordance with international standards, in particular, to the venues of competitions and accommodation for both participants and guests of the Games, areas reserved for the media, provision of judges and accounting systems with uninterrupted high-speed Internet, organization of wi-fi zones, technical means necessary for broadcasting competitions via satellite. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to establish work at the proper level and make joint decisions on existing issues. As part of their arrival in Uzbekistan, the OCA delegates visited the Olympic Town, which is being built in Tashkent. Having familiarized the guests with the main cluster of the Games, the Secretary General of the NOC said that all standards are observed in the construction of the complex and the latest technologies are used to equip the arena and other sports facilities. The meeting was also attended by the director of the TV channel "Sport" Uz NTRK Zohid Karimov. During the event, the parties exchanged views on technical issues of broadcasting the competition. Sports Minister Adham Ikramov will also receive the guests today. Next, officials will take part in the opening ceremony of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Tashkent and get acquainted with the arena, where athletes will also perform as part of Tashkent 2025.
