The Para- Asian Games 2022
From October 22 to 28 this year, the IV Summer Para-Asian Games will be held in the Chinese city of Hangzhou. Where Paralympians from more than 40 countries of our continent will take part. The competition was scheduled to take place in October 2022. However, after the outbreak of another wave of coronavirus infection in China, the Para-Asian Games were postponed, and on August 17, 2022, at a meeting of the executive committee of the Asian Paralympic Council, it was announced that the complex competitions would be held in 2023. For the first time in its history, the delegation of Uzbekistan will take part in the Hangzhou 2022 Para-Asian Games with a large team of 108 para–athletes in 11 sports. It should be noted that our representatives will take part in the paracanoe and paraacademic rowing programs for the first time at the Games. The opening ceremony of the IV Para-Asian Games will be held on October 22. The main members of the Uzbek delegation will travel to Hangzhou on October 20.
