A total of 28 countries from four continents have confirmed rowing and canoeing quotas for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The quotas were distributed after this year's ICF Canoe Rowing World Championships in Duisburg. The host country Germany received the largest number of places according to the quota for athletes in Paris — 17, while Spain and Hungary received 15 Olympic starting places each. Six countries have won only one place in the quota for athletes – Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia and the USA. Countries will get an additional chance to earn quotas at their continental championships. Only male and female K4 crews are fully distributed. There are 236 quota places in total – 117 each for men and women.
