The National Olympic Committee is 31 years old!

Today is January 21st, 2023. Exactly 31 years have passed since the establishment of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan. The full implementation of activities on the world stage became possible with the full recognition of the National Olympic Committee by the International Olympic Committee at its 101st session in September 1993. Since then, Uzbekistan has been regularly participating in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games. Today, the NOC, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports, is carrying out large-scale work to promote a healthy lifestyle, develop physical culture and sports, and promote pure and noble ideas of Olympism in our country. In addition, he strengthened international relations, established comprehensive cooperation with reputable sports organizations and leading sports powers. During this time, the delegation of Uzbekistan won 13 gold, 7 silver and 21 bronze medals at 8 winter and 7 summer Olympics. The National Olympic Committee works in close cooperation with the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports, Federations and Associations to achieve success in the international sports arena, in complex competitions. The organization is actively preparing for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games thanks to the full support of the Government and the President. The best conditions and opportunities are being created for the participation of National teams in domestic and foreign training camps in preparation for major complex tournaments.  We sincerely congratulate Federations and Associations, National teams, Olympians and their coaches, a multi–million army of fans - sincere fans of Uzbek sports on today's holiday.
