The next stage of the Olympic ticket sale is open, 500 days left

This week marks 500 days before the start of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, and also marks the beginning of the next stage of the ticket campaign. The early stage of ticket sales for the Games was incredibly successful, breaking previous records and easily exceeding the targets set by the organizers of the Games. So far, 3.25 million tickets have been sold, which is a quarter of a million more than expected, and the organizers call this the largest number of tickets ever sold in France. "In less than three weeks, 3.25 million tickets were sold and the level of interest was phenomenal both in France and abroad," said Tony Estange, president of Paris 2024. "All those who have not yet purchased their ticket have a chance to do so, starting on March 15, when we will open the registration period for the sale of individual tickets." Starting today, a new stage begins, allowing fans to purchase one-time tickets. This stage will include all sports, including canoe sprint, canoe slalom and kayak cross, as well as tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies. Tickets will only be available through the draw. Fans have five weeks to register, from today (March 15) to 18:00 Central European time on April 20. You can register through the Game ticket sales website https://www.tickets.paris2024.org/en Jean-Michel Pronot, chairman of the ICF Canoe Slalom Committee, urged fans to come early to avoid disappointment. "We know that local fans will generate a lot of interest in slalom and kayak competitions, so tickets will be sold out quickly," Prono said. "Plus, there will be the excitement of a new event, kayak-cross, which is sure to attract a completely new audience. The place is fantastic and guarantees a wonderful atmosphere. "We wouldn't want people to miss this opportunity, so sign up soon." Toshi Furuya, chairman of the ICF Rowing and Canoeing committee, said that people are eager to return to the Olympic Games after they had to skip Tokyo, so the desire for tickets will be strong. "We know that fans from all over the world are looking forward to cheering on their athletes in canoeing in Paris, but they need to act quickly to get these tickets," Furuya said. "We have several new events in Paris, and we expect many new athletes from new countries who will highlight the global strength of our sport. Because of this, we know that there will be a bright and energetic crowd. "It's very easy to register for tickets. Don't miss the chance to be a part of what will truly be an incredible event."
