A training camp (TC) of the National Rowing Team of Uzbekistan is being held in the city of Dalaman, Turkey.
The camp brings together 11 athletes and 3 coaches. It has been organized as part of the team’s preparation for upcoming international competitions. The training program includes endurance and speed development, technical on-water rowing sessions, strength and functional conditioning, as well as control races.
Holding the training camp in Turkey allows the team to train in favorable climate conditions and on high-quality water facilities, which contributes to enhancing the athletes’ competitive readiness ahead of international events.
It is worth noting that the first competition of the year in rowing is traditionally the Open Championship of Greece. At present, three of our athletes — Anna Prakaten, Alisher Turdyev, and Pavel Sorin — are taking part in training camps in Athens, Greece.
