These days, the Uzbekistan National Rowing Team is taking part in an international training camp. As part of their preparation, our athletes are also competing at the traditional 64th International Amber Oars Regatta 2026, testing their skills against some of the strongest rowers in Europe.
This year's regatta brings together athletes from Uzbekistan, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
Today, our rowers added two medals to Uzbekistan's tally!
🥇 In the Junior Women's Pair (JW2-) event, Aidana Smetullayeva and Rayhona Sattorova delivered an outstanding performance, finishing ahead of all their rivals to claim the gold medal.
🥈 Another medal came in the Junior Men's Double Sculls (JM2x) event, where Lazizbek Kuchkorov and Umarali Abdullayev secured the silver medal, earning another podium finish for Team Uzbekistan.
