Every year, the traditional international regatta “Prezident Cup” is held in the city of Mingachevir, Azerbaijan. This year, more than 100 athletes from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Ukraine took part in the competition.

It is worth noting that three of our athletes — Maksim Ivliyev, Zafarjon Bakhtiyorov, and Abdulaziz Garipov — who defended the honor of their country, won a total of 6 gold and 1 silver medal in the K-1 (200 m, 1000 m) and K-2 (500 m and 1000 m) events.

This regatta annually brings together the strongest rowers from different countries, contributing to the development of international cooperation and the promotion of rowing sports.
