Award Ceremony of Our Athletes!
Olympian, Asian champion, and Asian Games medalist Shakhriyor Makhkamov (K-1, 1000 m) kicked off this year’s Asian Championships with a gold medal.
Nurislam Tukhtasin ugli / Kamronbek Akhtamov (C-2, 1000 m) and Mirjalol Komilov (C-1, 1000 m) also won silver medals. Khonzoda Erkinova / Muattarkhon Kadirjonova (C-1, 1000 m), Milana Dushev-Janich (K-1, 1000 m), as well as Shakhrizoda Mavlonova / Ozodjon Amriddinov (K-2 mixed, 500 m) claimed bronze medals.
Thus, following the first day of competition at the Asian Championships, members of our national team have won 1 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
These results have undoubtedly been achieved thanks to the conditions created in our country, the support of coaches, and the hard work of our athletes.
