The Uzbekistan Cup in indoor rowing officially opened in the city of Gulistan, Syrdarya region.
The opening ceremony was attended by Anvar Buranov, Head of the Syrdarya Regional Department of Sports; Vyacheslav Didrikh, Secretary General of the Uzbekistan Rowing & Canoe Federation; Bahodirkhoja Eshonov, Regional Executive Director of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan; Iftikhor Urokov, Director of the Gulistan Center for Olympic and Paralympic Sports Training; as well as other representatives of the sports sector. The competition brings together the country’s strongest athletes from all regions. The tournament is taking place in a highly competitive and spectacular atmosphere and represents an important stage in the national sports calendar. The Uzbekistan Cup will conclude on December 25.
