The Olympic Games in Los Angeles (USA) will take place from July 14 to July 30, 2028.
The first set of medals at the LA 2028 Olympics will be awarded in the women’s triathlon on July 15, with competitions held at Venice Beach. On the opening day of the Games, medal events will also take place in athletics, canoe slalom, fencing, judo, rugby, and shooting. The 15th day of the Olympics (July 29) will be the busiest in the history of the Games, with 26 sets of medals to be contested. The final Olympic champions of Los Angeles will be determined in swimming on the last competition day, shortly before the closing ceremony. It is planned that the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028 will bring together more than 15,000 of the world’s top athletes.
These will be the third Olympic Games hosted by the city, following the editions in 1932 and 1984, and the first Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
