On December 4, a Coaches’ Council meeting for canoe and kayak rowing was held under the auspices of the Rowing & Canoe Federation of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, participants discussed the current condition of the athletes, their health status, performance indicators, the training conditions provided for the team, existing shortcomings, the results of the 2025 season, the work carried out, ongoing training camps, as well as plans for the future.
In particular, the daily training plans developed by international specialists and coaches for the athletes were thoroughly reviewed.

Part of the national team departed for an international training camp on the morning of December 5.
Under the guidance of coaches Alexander Ponomaryov and Viktor Reneisky, the athletes traveled to the Turkish city of Belek.

The group includes: Mirjalol Komilov, Azimjon Satvoldiev, Diyorbek Mamatkulov, Kamoliddin Rakhmatullaev, Khonzoda Erkinova, Dilnoza Rafikova, Shokhsanam Sherzodova, Nilufar Zakirova, and Zarina Kazakova.

The purpose of the trip is thorough preparation for international and national competitions in 2026.
The training camp will last until December 28.

It should be recalled that in April 2025, selection competitions among kayak and canoe athletes of various age categories were held at the rowing canal in the city of Samarkand.
It is planned that selection championships will also be held in April 2026.
