The awarding ceremony of the Asian Paralympic Committee (ARC), which identified the best, based on the results of 2023, took place today in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is noteworthy that the Vice-president of the Asian Paralympic Committee, Chairman of the Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan Mukhtorkhon Taskhodjaev was awarded the honorary Order of the organization for his contribution to the development and popularization of the Paralympic movement in the continent. Another noteworthy thing is that the winner of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympics, world champion, winner of the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Para Games, Asila Mirzaerova, was recognized as the "Best para-athlete" of the continent among women.
