On December 8-10, a rowing slalom seminar was organized at the Rowing & Canoe Federation of Uzbekistan
A seminar for rowing slalom mentors is being held in Tashkent based on the rowing slalom development project in Uzbekistan. It is attended by 25 coaches from different regions of the country – the city of Tashkent, Tashkent region, Samarkand, Ferghana, Namangan, and Andijan regions. The seminar will last until December 10th. In it, the coaches will study with Pavel Smirnov, a foreign specialist. Classes are held in such areas as providing proper physical activity to slalom athletes, working with their psychology, fighting doping, and training technical skills both on water and on land.
