Uzbek sports officials attended a number of events in Belarus

Within the framework of the II CIS Games, which are taking place in Belarus, a number of official meetings with the participation of heads of delegations are organized. Today, during the day, meetings were held with the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matitsin, President of the Olympic Committee of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko, Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Kovalchuk on topics such as the development of physical culture and sports, strengthening the promotion of Olympism in the region. Viktor Lukashenko, warmly recalling his visit to Tashkent, emphasized the strengthening of ties between Belarus and Uzbekistan in the field of sports. The officials exchanged views on the organization of international training camps in preparation for major sporting events in addition to the CIS Games, the exchange of scientific achievements, and the promotion of pure and noble ideas of Olympism.
